HEALTH HOME

In the present scenario, we would like to focus on the catch word that the health is wealth, in view of that our Institution offered all the available facilities to the students for them physical fitness, such as a well equipped Gymnasium, or very large playground along with Badminton Court, Volleyball Court, playground for basketball as well. It is a great placement for us to note that we have a separate Physical Education Department (B.P.ED) which is one of the pioneer institute within the State and beyond the state. Our institution provides students health home facilities to the students. So that they can avail free medical facilities partner institution of West Bengal Students health home, Kolkata. A minimum charge of Rs 5/- a year has been collected for this purpose. Many national and state level seminars on health education and physical fitness has been organised for student, these seminars creates general awareness for overall health education. We have hosted now govt. inter colleges sports meet for consecutive 3years. This is also boosted our students to associate with different sports related activities.

HOSTEL

The college has at present one Boys hostel and one Girls hostel, which is under one Superintendent & two Assistant Superintendents. Students have to apply in specified form for seeking admission in the hostel. Students have to pay hostel admission fee, monthly seat rent and electricity charge on regular basis. Students must maintain the rules and regulations of the hostel.

CAREER COUNSELING CELL

The college has a career conseling cell for the students as per the guidelines of UGC.

SERVICE COACHING FOR THE SC, ST, OBC AND MINORITY CANDIDATES

The college is running a coaching centre under the financial assistance of UGC to guide students for the competitive examinations, like SSC.

NCFM COURSE

The college runs a course on NSEs Certification in Financial Market which helps the students finding jobs in financial markets. Details can be obtained from the course co-ordinator.

CAREER ORIENTED PROGRAMME

The college runs four career oriented programmes on Sales Tax & Income Tax Practice, Communicative English, Yoga Therapeutic Course and Business Management with the financial assistance.

NON - FORMAL SANSKRIT EDUCATION CENTRE

The college runs a Non-Formal Education Centre (Onoupacharik Sanskrita Sikshan Kendra) which is sponsored by Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan (Deemed University).

STUDENTS HELP CELLS

Students Grievance Redressal cell aims to solve students grievances. One complaint box is kepy in front of the teachers Room. With the aim of maintaining proper environment in the college, different cells are in action like, Womens Cell, Anti-ragging Cell and Environment Cell.

REMEDIAL COACHING

The college has the provision of remedial coaching for SC, ST & other weaker sections of the student community.
